Request access for for Rare, Unusual & Significant Plants Database

Welcome to the request for access form for the database of Rare, Unusual and Significant Plants of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The database represents over 35 years of research and monitoring by CNPS volunteers, as well as data from a myriad of other sources, and contains records dating back to the 1800’s. The database can be searched for species records or observation records, with 36 different parameters.

Once you gain access and before using the database, we will provide you with information about Using The Database under the Documentation tab at the top of the Search Page. If you have any questions or problems, or find an error, please contact tech support (unusual-plants-support@ebcnps.org) for technical problems, or database administrator (unusual-plants-admin@ebcnps.org) for botanical questions. Also, please note that the database is constantly changing and being updated, so all data may not be up to date. (Eg., we are currently working on developing a population system and you will thus notice that only a few records have population numbers at this time.)
