Tuesday, March 22, 2022 — 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
There will also be a morning session from 10:00 – 11:00 am covering different open spaces – see below for details.
CNPS East Bay Chapter is partnering with Calflora to encourage you to share your botanical knowledge. These are the first of a series of online sessions in an exciting new project to better document the flora of the East Bay. When shared, this information has immense value for our chapter. Please don’t assume that what you know has been recorded by someone else, but instead join us for this enjoyable one-hour virtual session discussing the flora of your favorite open space(s).
Please contact spprt@calflora.org to RSVP to receive a zoom link and/or call-in phone number.
In the morning session (10-11 am) we will be discussing:
- Albany Hill Park
- Brushy Peak Regional Preserve
- Point Pinole Regional Shoreline
- Tesla Park (not open to the public)
- Vasco Caves Regional Preserve
In the evening session (6-7 pm) we will be covering:
- Berkeley shoreline
- Cerrito Creek
- Codornices Creek
- El Cerrito Hillside Natural Area
- Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve
- Mount Diablo State Park
