This past October, Jun Bando, PhD, started in her role as executive director of the CNPS statewide organization. Dr. Bando is originally from the South Bay, and she says, “My own journey to CNPS started decades ago, when I first fell in love with the natural world while exploring the creeks and oak woodlands of the South San Francisco Bay Area. My affinity for science and conservation led to a multidimensional career spanning higher education, international diplomacy, and advocacy.…Family and my core interest in conservation brought me back to California.”
Join us to get to know Dr. Bando. She’s looking forward to getting to know you: hearing your questions, stories, and thoughts about what’s most exciting in CNPS’s work.
Our CNPS East Bay speaker programs will be presented as online meetings until it is safe to gather in person. If you have questions, contact Sue at programs@ebcnps.org.
