November 16, 2024

Nature’s Best Hope Conference

Saturday, November 16, 2024 — 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tickets for the Nature’s Best Hope Conferences are now on sale! You can purchase them here.

The keynote speaker on both days will be NY Times bestselling author of Nature’s Best Hope, Doug Tallamy, a leader in the habitat restoration movement. In addition to Dr. Tallamy, we have brought together speakers who are changemakers throughout our region to inspire action.

Each conference day is unique, with a different keynote from Dr. Tallamy and a different roster of speakers.  Many people I have talked to plan to attend both days: as we expect the Oakland Museum, with just 200 available seats, to sell out quickly, I felt it was especially important to reach out to you now about our ‘early bird’ ticket sales for these two events:

Nature’s Best Hope – Full Day Conference
Saturday, November 16 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
at the Oakland Museum of California’s James Moore Theater
$70 early bird ($80 after October 31)

Nature’s Best Hope – Half Day Conference
Sunday, November 17 – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
at Santa Clara University’s Mayer Theater
$40 early bird ($50 after October 31)

You will find the complete details about each of these conferences, and can register  here.

These conferences celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour, and the great strides we have all made in the San Francisco Bay Area to promote habitat expansion in our gardens, public spaces, municipalities and corporate landscapes. They are also convening people to take further action to advance this cause. I hope you’ll join us!
