Join rangers and EBRPD Botanist Michele Hammond as we remove invasive French Broom to support an ongoing habitat restoration project. Michele will discuss what the Park District is doing to protect rare and endangered plants, and what you can do to help! We will meet at the Redwood Bowl Picnic Area, then hike approximately 1.15 miles over easy-to-moderate terrain to the project site. We will be working around poison oak, so long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes are strongly recommended. Work gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided.

Parking is limited at the Redwood Bowl staging area. Additional free parking can be found at the Chabot Space and Science Center parking lot.
