Shady Canyon Exploration (Don Castro Regional Recreation Area)

Sunday, September 17, 2023 — 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

DON CASTRO (LOWER PARKING LOT): You may not have heard of Shady Canyon. We will start at the Lake, and head up San Lorenzo Creek into Shady Canyon, where we will visit a pond and check out a habitat restoration site to see how it is holding up. This walk is a fascinating mixture of urban and wild.

Ages 8 years and up.
$5 parking fee may apply.
No registration; drop-in.
