Native Here Nursery: We’re Here for You, and We Need You!

Although we regret that we weren’t able to serve our customers this spring, the coronavirus shutdown has given us time to work on many projects at Native Here Nursery so we can serve you better when we reopen.

We’re excited to announce our most significant accomplishment: we have created a new website that enables our customers to order plants online for nursery pickup until we can return to in-person shopping—and afterwards if it suits your convenience. We’ve put up the basic website functions to get started, and we’ll be adding more information and features in the near future. Our online ordering system is active, so please check it out.

We have also developed practices to ensure that our volunteers can work safely at the nursery. Now we’re looking for additional volunteers to help with watering during the dry season, sterilizing soil, or grooming plants. If you would like to help, look for more details and people to contact on the Volunteer Opportunities page of the Native Here Nursery website.

We look forward to once again serving our customers and restoring local native plants to East Bay gardens.
