We will once again be removing French broom (Genista monspessulana) at Sibley, meeting at the Old Tunnel Road Staging Area on Old Tunnel Road off Fish Ranch Road on the Orinda side of the Oakland Hills.

Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve (Oakland): Weeding Out Invasive Plants

Ages 14 and up
Meet us at the main parking lot for Huckleberry preserve on Skyline Blvd just south of Elverton Drive in the Oakland Hills. We will decide the work site for the day depending on weather and soil.
Help remove invasive plants by hand in this special preserve, home to a native plant community found nowhere else in the East Bay. Heavy rain on the morning of April 26 cancels, but we’ll show up in drizzle or mist.
